Ring Bearer

Camp had the honor of being a ring bearer in his PDO teacher's wedding. The wedding was in Nashville. He did really good for a two year old. I stayed with him until it was time to walk and Blake was sitting at the front waiting for Camp. They wanted Camp to stand with the groomsmen, but that didn't work out so much-ha! I guided Camp through the doors and he looked back at me and just froze. I told him to go to daddy. He turned around and he finally saw Blake. Once he saw Blake he jumped in the air and ran down the isle to him. I told Blake, to me, it will always be special because I can see Camp's face with a big smile and know he's running to his daddy. Afterwards was picture time, and Camp was kind of through with all the wedding stuff. The only way he would take a picture was if the bride, Maggie, held him. All in all, we were so proud of him!!!!

Fireman and Bumble Bee

Kate was a bumble bee for her first Halloween and (of course) Camp was a fireman. Correction-he told everyone, "I'm a firefighta." Camp has such a country accent.Both kids went to the Fall festival at our church. Camp had a blast. Like most 2.5 yer olds, he loves pizza and inflatables. He was all over the place.

On Halloween the kids had a parade at PDO. The rest are just some Halloween pics I took of Kate throughout the week of Halloween.

Burlap and head bands!!

I'm obsessed with burlap these days!! I want to decorate with it as much as possible. I just haven't had the time to sit down and collectively think how I want to do this. BUT I did make 6 "S" burlap place mats.

 I also decided to make Kate some headbands during my craft time! She's such a great model!!!

Camp's Summer

Just a recap. Camp's best friend is Luke. They have play dates a lot. When they see each other they squeal like little girls and hug. Luke calls Camp, "Pamp," and Camp calls Luke, "Ki-Ki."

Camp loves, loves, loves the pool!! He wants to go to the pool all the time. 

Camp went to VBS.

Camp spent a lot of time with his cousin, Reid.

Ran errands with mommy!!

He has an obsession with the i-pad. He works it better than me. He got new shoes.

Camp went to his first movie, "Planes." He did great and ate tons of popcorn.

We went to the beach. Camp loved the ocean and sand.

 He became a Big Brother!!!

3 Months

Kate is growing like crazy and changing everyday. Below are some highlights. -3 to 6 month tops and 3 month pants -She just entered into size 2 diaper -She is bound and determined to roll over. She almost can. She gets all the way over and just needs to move her arm. -She loves to smile!!! She's cooing now and making the cutest noises. Oh, how you wish you could capture all those cute sounds. You totally forget about them when they turn 2 and are screaming at the top of their lungs!!! -She's more alert and wants to see all the action. -She loves to sit up. She can already sit in the bumbo. If she's laying down, she's constantly trying to hold her head up. She wants to be fed her bottle sitting up, not laying down. -She had her first shots right after two months and did great! She goes to the Dr. again in 2 weeks for her 4 month check up. -She now loves the swing and the play gym. She still likes the lamb chair, but she's tired of the boppy. -She has slept through the night 8pm-8am several times. She also has nights that she wakes up at 6am and I have to put a paci in her mouth. Then she goes back to sleep. -She's a mover when she sleeps. When we go get her in the morning, she's turned sideways and at the other side of the crib. It worked out that I never bought a bumper. -She began her 2 days at PDO last week. She did great! -She's not a great morning napper. I'm lucky to get 30min. That's my fault because we're just not home in the mornings. She's a great afternoon sleeper. -No matter nap or sleep time, she still wants to be swaddled. -Her eyes are blue -Her hair is blonde and brown -Everyone says she looks like Blake!! In fact, at church they call her Blake with a bow!! -She went to the the nursery at church for the first time yesterday. She did good! -She's really a good baby. She really doesn't cry that much at all. I guess because the house is so loud with Camp, she just doesn't even bother-ha! -She loves to grab onto items, my hair and fingers now. -Her wardrobe has expanded to bigger bows, leg warmers and tu-tu's. >
