Just Camp
We've been in Asheville for Thanksgiving. I've never sat down at my parents computer and looked at their pictures of Camp. Below are some pictures they have of him.

Weekend Fun
The following pictures are just random pictures of activities we did in October when we were actually home. We began baby proofing! We have hardwood floors and it scares me to death every time Camp falls on them. We bought those large puzzle pieces with numbers and letters on them. Now he has his own corner in our living room.
We moved our entertainment system and coffee table out of the living room. We put the TV above the fireplace (where it’s supposed to go) and rearranged the furniture. This has worked out great and given us so much more room for his toys and jump A Roo etc. Also, our kitchen has an opening in the wall so I can now be in the kitchen and see Camp playing in his corner. The funny thing about his play corner is that he has all his toys on the mat and all he wants to do is chew on the corner of the puzzle pieces or pull out the letters and numbers and chew on them. Everything is a chew toy! I thought Trixie was bad-HA!!
Next, you'll see Father and Son watching the UT game dressed for game day. Blake and I are on the six week nursery worker rotation. We had our first nursery duty. We signed up to watch the infant room because we know what to do with infants. It's fun to watch Camp interact with others. I'm a firm believer that if my child is in the nursery at church (which is free) then my payment for the nursery is to be in the six week nursery worker rotation.

7 Months!!!
Since I was behind on posting the six month pictures, it seems Camp turned another month in like two weeks or so. We are at 30 weeks. Once more we just can't keep him still for pictures. I try. Here are the highlights:
-9 to 12 month clothes
-We've moved on up to size 3 diapers
-Instead of crawling, Camp would rather roll everywhere. He is scooting some on his stomach.
-He says, "Da-Da," "Hey," and "Ma-Ma." Let the record state that he said "Da-Da," first. You know Blake loves that!!
-He had his first temperature.
-He's playing with toys a lot now.
-He likes playing the piano and being an artist on the i-pad.
-He is eating baby food (all stages) three times a day. Next we will focus on finger foods and snacks.
-He gets four 8oz to 6oz bottles and now tells us by pulling the bottle down when he doesn't want anymore. Then he will close his mouth and nothing will get through those closed lips.
-He eats in a high chair now instead of a bumbo seat.
-He has also found a "boy anatomy part" that has made diaper changing quite interesting!!!
-He still loves to put his foot in his mouth.
-Two teeth.
-Head full of hair.
-Eyes still in the middle of blue and brown. Hazel?
What mom has learned:
-When he had his fever, I forgot what it was like to be up most of the night. You would have thought I got ran over by a truck the next day. Thank goodness he went straight back to sleeping through the night. I hated to see Camp with a fever, he just had the crud, but it was so nice that he wanted to cuddle all the time. I took total advantage of cuddling.
-I need to pack up his clothes that don't fit anymore for his fall/winter clothes are more bulky and I need the room. I just hate to say good-bye to his "small" clothing.
-Consignment and borrowing kid items from friends is such the way to go!!
-Socks!!! I can't keep up with them. He has them off as soon as I have them on. Therefore, I find them in my car, in his carrier and all over the house. I feel like I've bought more socks because we keep losing them.
-Pregnancy brain only gets worse after the child is born!! I forget more things now than ever or my mind is going a "mile a minute" and/or I just can't think.
-An infant's flu shot is 2 shots not just 1.
-I don't take Camp back to the doctor until he is 9 months. I realize he's growing up. It really does happen so fast. You want to cherish every moment.
-Not that I didn't know this, but strangers have now confirmed for me (more than once) that Camp looks just like Blake.
